Opportunity Spotlight
EMS Junior Rescue Squad
If you are between 13 and 18 years old, this is a fun way to learn more about the Emergency Medical Services profession, learn medical skills ranging from CPR to Stop the Bleed, and develop leadership and social skills. The program begins in August.
Youth Fire Cadets
This is a great opportunity for youth, ages 14 to 20 to learn about Fire and Emergency Services. Volunteers will learn leadership and team building, proper equipment usage, emergency call protocols, and will participate in firefighting training, ride-a-longs and training scenarios.
Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant
If you like engaging with customers and clerical work, this may be for you. Assist the Housing & Neighborhood Preservation’s Housing Division by assisting participants in the Housing Choice Voucher program.
Technology Education Programming Volunteer
Share your technology knowledge with others! Adult volunteers are needed to help provide technology education for different age groups, including assisting during classes, leading programs depending on your expertise, and advising on program development.
