Teen Advisory Group (TAG)
TAG volunteers are needed between the ages of 12 and 17 to assist Library staff with planning and implementing relevant and fun teen-oriented and community-based programs, services, and resources. Applications open on April 14, 2025.
EMS Trainee
Are you interested in healthcare and saving lives? Get trained to become a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) free of charge in return for committing to be a Virginia Beach Rescue Squad volunteer for 12 months.
Volunteer Support Technician (VST)
Would you like to help first responders? The VST program trains civilian personnel to assist career and volunteer firefighters with emergency incidents. Members of this program restore fire units to ready status following each incident.
Workforce Development Volunteer
This is a great way to give back! Assist customers at the Library in completing job applications, updating resumes, searching for jobs, and preparing for interviews.
